Next week on February 5th 2014 will be the 10th anniversary of Emma's death. For those close to her she is a powerful vivid memory that is with us everyday. We see her, feel her touch and hear her voice and wonder what she would have made of the world today. You can be sure she would have had views that cut through to the truth of it all. Missing you Emma for the beauty of everything you were in your brilliant short life.
I went for a drink and a think today in your honour.
I'd met her that morning
in the waiting room at 7AM
And 16 beautiful hours later
I'd never see her again.

Emma, We had a wonderful evening on 5th February 2014. You would have loved it. Your Mum had the most beautiful pink fluffy jumper on and your friends and family toasted your memory with wine and beer in a little candle lit bar off the Grays Inn Road. Your memory only becomes stronger with time and you are wrapped around with love. Thank you to Linda, Ernest, Meroe and Rob for letting Alex and I share your anniversary. xxx
