After attending a friends 50th birthday party in birstall several weeks ago and bumping into an old schoolfriend, i was shocked and saddened by the news of emma and what had happened to her and also how long ago it was without knowing anything about it..... I went to school with emma in the 80's at longslade and hung around together for a while! I will always remember emma as being a clever, fun, lovely, musical girl. Also i remember her mother and sister more and the very trendy house on hallfields lane! having read all about emmas story i felt that i had to leave a message and pass on my sympathy to her family and friends...looking back at the pictures was a blast from the past and just how i remember emma...what a brave woman she was and an inspiration to others. It just makes you realise how short life is and to cherish every moment.
